The report of the executive committee was made by its chairman, George T. Wilson, one of the founders in London in 1902, and the moving and active spirit of the American Pilgrims, which was organized in 1903. It was a masterpiece of intellectuality wit and eloquence, ana enlivened the proceeding. The cable sent to the British Pilgrims for the dinner to H. R. H. the Prince of Wales, given in London January 21, was read as follows: "His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales at a farewell dinner with the American Pilgrims, gave disiinction to the close of our old year, and dining with you gives cheer to your greeting of the new. His personality, tact and cordial friendship tor our country and our people added emphasis and enthusiasm to the good will between Great Britain and the United States, for which our two societies labor. We are with you in heart and spirit for a memorable evening for the British Pilgrims, and join in your cheers for the Prince, whom we are proud to claim as our honorary member." Mr. Wilson also read a cable he received the day of the meeting from Lord Desborough, chairman of the executive committee of the British Pilgrims as follows: "All who have Anglo-American amity at heart rejoice at the opportunity afforded the Pilgrims of both countries of testifying to the Prince of Wales' great contribution to our common cause. We heartily join with you in toasting Ronald Lindsay, who has done so much to promote good fellowship between the two countries."
