There is a triangular mark on the centre of the metanotum, the narrow end at the apex; the striae on it are irregular and run into reticulations. The striation on the front is not very strong. Face yellow. Clypeus black, with a yellow mark, transverse, rounded at the sides in the centre. Legs red; the hind trochanters black. Areolet not very large, almost square (smaller than in rufipes, which receives the recurrent nervure shortly behind the middle). Black, very shining, the centre of the face and clypeus, the latter more widely than the former; the inner orbits narrowly from near the bottom and round the top, the lower two-thirds of the outer, base of mandibles and palpi, a narrow line on the apical half of the pronotum, the base below, a transverse small mark on the apex of the middlelobe of the mesonotum, scutellar keels, apex of scutellum, the mark longer than broad; a line on the centre of the apical slope of the metanotum, followed downwards, on either side, by a similar line of the same length and united to a mark on the middle, which is longer than broad and of equal width; tubercles. a pyriform mark on the lower part of the mesopleurae near the base, a smaller, somewhat similar mark on the lower side at the apex, a stripe along the lower side of the furrow, the usual mark under the hind wings. an oblique mark near the apex of the metapleurae and narrow lines on the...
