Even-taxable inhabitant of a district who shall have 13 been, within four years, set off from any other district, without 14 his consent, and shall within that period, have actually paid in 15 such other district, under a lawful assessment therein, a district 1 tax for building a school-house, shall be exempted by the trustees IT of the district where he shall reside, from the pa.yment of any 18 tax for building a. school-house therein. lf 71.
