NovelCurling Iron Heater Installation A; Motor-driven Sewing Machine in the Factory of Messrs Stein & Blaine, Furriers and Tailors, 8-10 West Thirty-Sixth Street Edison battery and the vehicle will be run over the road from New York to Bridgeport in making delivery to prove its practical utility in every particular. Conditional upon the satisfactory performance of this machine the NEW type of curlingiron heater has been devised for use in the RitzCarlton Hotel, now being erected at Madison Ave and Forty-sixth St. The principle of thismechanism is just the same as that of those now generally in use, but the heater is so arranged that it will be flush with the wall, thus adding, in the opinion of the Ritz-Carlton architects, to the sightliness of the rooms. All that is visible is a small square of polished nickel having a small round hole in the centre. Into this hole-in-the-wall, the curling-iron is placed. The usual mechanism for such heaters is hidden in the wall. Four hundred heaters of this new type have been ordered for the hotel from the Simplex Heating Company.
