Jimmy Wray (born 28 April 1938) is a Scottish politician of Irish descent and former member of Parliament for Glasgow Baillieston. A former boxer, Wray was elected as a councillor to the then Glasgow Town Council in 1964 for Kelvinside, and moved over to the larger Strathclyde Regional Council in 1975 for Gorbals. Wray is a left-wing member of the Labour Party, and is part of the Socialist Campaign Group. He is Eurosceptic, pro-Irish nationalist regarding Northern Ireland, and is opposed to abortion and the abolition of Section 28. He was tagged "I.R Wray" by Private Eye magazine.
