Earth Core: Scorched Heaven (Electronic book text)

The first book in the Earth Core series. The series follows the lead character John Hunter, who fights for what his wife wanted before she died, peace. He is haunted by her memory and can never forget her. In this first book the human race is limited to within our solar system, united under Earth Core. However this fragile alliance is beginning to break but a series of attacks from outside our solar system will force them to work together against an unstoppable enemy. The president of Earth Core needs to conceal her past to keep them together, lies build, but the threat of attack from the outside rises. Mankind must pull together or else they will fall and burn leaving behind nothing but a Scorched Heaven.
