Jason Howell Phillips (born October 11, 1966) is the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for the Houston Cougars football team, which represents the University of Houston. He is also a former professional American football player who played as wide receiver for five seasons for the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons. Phillips also played college football for Houston. American football is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone. Known in the United States simply as football, it may also be referred to informally as gridiron football.
