St phane Gendron (born December 22, 1967) is the current mayor of Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada and a political analyst for several media outlets. He was born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and raised in nearby Saint-R mi in the Mont r gie. Gendron is a graduate of Coll ge Jean de la Mennais in La Prairie and has a law degree from the Universit de Montr al and master's degree in history from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Prior to his political and media career, Gendron practiced law and taught at the CEGEP level. He was also a political aide to former Parti Qu b cois politician Jean Garon.
