But in June 2010, Spears was ranked sixth on Forbes list of the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world; she is also ranked as the third most powerful musician in the world. According to concert trade publication Pollstar, "The Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour grossed more than $130 million. Spears took in still more from tour merchandise and another greatest hits album, "The Singles Collection." She really made $64 million last year (June 1 2009 to June 2010). The lead single "Hold It Against Me" of her upcoming album, premiered on January 10, 2011, set the record for most radio plays in one day in the United States, and was expected the track to sell over 400,000 copies in the US its first week. So, it is very clear now that Britney Spears is coming back-slowly but surely-on the path to achieve her lost glory.
