Dr. Peet is an ordained Minister with the Reformed Church in America. During his twenty-one years of Pastoral Ministry he served small membership congregations in New York and New Jersey as Installed Pastor and as Specialized Interim Minister. He retired at the end of 2008 from Second Reformed (Cobblestone) Church, Rotterdam, NY. His experiences in these churches gave him a hunger to understand "grace" and the depth of blessing God has for His children. Prior to entering Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master of Divinity degree, Dr. Peet was involved in Christian Marriage Encounter and ministry at Homewood (IL) Reformed Church. His Doctor of Ministry is from Drew University where his dissertation was entitled, Passion and Spiritual Gifts: Keys to Revisioning the Life and Ministry of the Church. Dr. Peet and his wife, Charlotte, live on the southern edge of the Adirondack State Park. They have three children.
