The adventures of Simon Pockett (Paperback)

This dry comedy novel is an idea loosely based on some factual happenings in and around my own life and around some of my best friends along with some of their associates, albeit the facts have been exaggerated slightly to fit and protect myself, my friends and some of their (idiotic) associates! Simon Pockett is a simpleton in life who goes out of his way to do his very utmost in the unfortunate world he lives in, possessing a power of arrogance with a sarcastic twist to his soul to an end where his simple tasks end up in many innocent yet unforeseen troubles. It's even known for him to fall out with some of his very close friends, even in his Christian life. He is without doubt a devout Christian bible puncher who likes a drink or two (every day or night, no matter what the circumstances are) but his main target in life is his religious belief, although you wouldn't see his point of view when you read about his travels, troubles and tribulations.
