Influential people, such and Theodore Roosevelt, George Bird Grinnell, and Aldo Leopold, are highlighted, as well as the role early organizations, such as the Boone and Crockett Club, played in conservation. This publication was adapted from a two part editorial appearing in Boone and Crockett Club's official publication Fair Chase.
