Journey to a New Beginning: Learner's Book 2 (Book)

As part of the new Learning Area of Life Orientation, sex education is critical to educate learners about issues that will effect them for the rest of their life. Important issues are dealt with such as sorting facts from myths, dealing with anxieties and realities facing young teenagers and the questioning of stereotypes and misinformation. This programme is recommended for learners from Grades 7 to 9, and tackels the issues surrounding sexuality in a sensitive, honest and often humorous way. The package consist of a Learners book 1 that can be used for the class, and Learner's Book2 - Girls' Talk or Learner's Book 2 - Boy ' Talk, which are private journals in workbook format for the learner to read and write at home. A Facilitator's Guide is also available.
