Gypsy 83 (DVD)

Coming-of-age-road movie in which two midwest misfits head for a new life in the 'Big Apple'. Stuck in rural Ohio, Gypsy (Sara Rue) and Clive (Kett Turton) inhabit a life of gothic dreams, trying to evade the sneers and comments of the disapproving townsfolk. But when she hears about the 'Night of a Thousand Stevies' contest in New York, Gypsy, tired of living in a goldfish bowl, decides to follow her dreams and be the best Stevie Nicks impersonator there is. Along with Clive, she sets out on a journey of discovery, determined to live life to the full and leave Ohio behind forever - whatever it takes.
