Advanced Control system for a vibration control for a road vehicle (Paperback)

Easy driving and passenger comfort are major factors for car researchers and designers to satisfy customer demands and to enhance marketability. Easy driving is expressed as good ride quality and handling performance. The most important factor for deciding automotive dynamic characteristics is the suspension system. Here, an attempt is made to analyze & reduce the vibrations for active suspension system for a quarter car model. Experimental set up is used for analyzing the system consists of an electromagnetic damper composed of permanent magnet and electromagnet.
