Health for all is the first comprehensive, modular course for community health workers. The various modules are written according to the outcomes-based education approach, in line with NQF requirements. There are four books in this course: A guide for community health workers; reproductive health; child health; preventing diseases. The titles are aimed at community health workers in NGOs, CBOs, health departments and training institutions. The series is designed in such a way that it could be used either by individual healthcare workers or within a group context. Some of the non-infectious diseases discussed include arthritis, asthma, diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, high blood pressure and stroke.
