Carnitine plays a key role in cellular energy production. It is essential for beta-oxidation of long-chain fatty acids in the mitochondria. Carnitine increase the oxidative capacity of liver and muscle during exercise and promotes recovery of muscle fibre thickness.
Adults: Take 2 capsules twice a day for 2 – 6 weeks.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Do not use for more than 6 weeks without consulting your doctor.
Individuals suffering from hypothyroidism or a seizure disorder must consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: 746mg L-Carnitine-L-tartrate Providing L-carnitine 500mg
Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatine free), magnesium stearate (vegetarian – flow agent) and talc.
Sugar-free.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Contra-Indications	Safety in pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. Anticoagulants (Warfarin): L-carnitine may potentiate the effects of anticoagulants and should be used carefully when combined with anticoagulants. Thyroid Hormone: L-carnitine could theoretically decrease the effectiveness of thyroid hormone replacement. Drugs that may deplete L-carnitine: Adefovir dipivoxil, carbamazepine, cisplatin, isotretinoin, phenabarbital, phenytoin, valproic acid, zidovudine and pivampicillin. Anti-arrythmic drugs: L-carnitine may reduce the need for beta-blockers.
Product Format	Capsules
Use Instructions	Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take 1 capsule twice daily with or without meals. This dose should be increased to 2 capsules three times daily for weight loss, chronic fatigue states, exercise enhancement and to improve sperm motility in men. Children 7-12 years of age: Take 1 capsule daily. In cases of ADD/ADHD this dosage can be increased to 1 capsule in the morning and 1 at midday.
