Thinking and Reasoning in Therapy - Narratives from Practice (Loose-leaf)

A collection of nine narratives as told by an international group of practicing occupational therapists. The editors feel that a narrative approach allows readers (and authors) to recognize connections that may be lost in a reductionist, logical approach. Loosely organized according to the historical evolution of clinical reasoning over the past 3 decades, the chapters focus on aspects from the cognitive science, problem-solving, and decision-making schools of thought; describe practice from a narrative viewpoint; and apply the narrative method to possible interfactional and educational applications in occupational therapy.
