The English Maasai & Other Truths (Paperback)

The English Maasai is based on the true story of an average working young Mother who trades life in London for East Africa. Starting off in Kenya, she becomes involved in some community project work. When it is time for the warriors to return home for a celebration, they invite her and her son along. It turns out to be the most amazing and life changing adventure. The story brings forward many questions and issues that we all have to deal with, from social expectation to moral obligations and family betrayal, this is a book which carries much of life in a brutally honest, sometimes funny, tragic and very emotional presentation.
