The Golden Dream (Spanish, English, DVD)

Migration drama following three young Guatemalan children who set off from their homes in the slums to begin a new life in the United States. Juan (Brandon López), Samuel (Carlos Chajon) and Sara (Karen Martinez) face a number of dangers on their journey including run-ins with corrupt officials, drug traffickers and gangs. Although all three of them are aware they might not make it across the border, the bonds they form along the way and the prospects which come with the new territory ensure that the trip is worth taking.
