But this calm Pends but between two tempests, Jews and Meccans With the wild Bedouins are laying plots, How they may have my head to bear as trophy Of the return of lewd idolatry.--0 ye wild beasts Ye ravenous Meccan vultures Ye whores Ye thieves Ye cruel infanticides Ye skulking murderers Ye greedy robbers What is there short of death--ay, more than death, 1 suffered not beneath your savage talons?
