The Italian Biographical Archive - Diazo Fiche Set (English, Italian, Microfiche)

The Archivio Biografico Italiano (ABI) brings together biographical information on the lives of 150,500 individuals from the whole Italian area, including its former dependencies, e.g. Dalmatia, Malta and Savoy. Information was gathered from 321 significant sources in 560 volumes published between 1646 and 1934. The result is an extremely comprehensive overview of personalities representing 2,000 years of Italy's political, cultural and economic history.
