Co2-Laser Micro-Surgical Techniques for the Lower Genital Tract - Video (VHS video casette)


This video shows the microsurgical techniques for treatment of cervical intrepithelial neoplasia, Bartholin's duct cysts, condyloma acuminatum and vulvar intrepithelial neoplasia. Laser treatment focuses on diseased tissue only. Instead of conical cervical preparations, cylindrical specimens are used preserving more connective tissue and reducing the stroma effect. CO2 laser is a rapid and effective method of surgery of certain cyst structures in the lower reproductive tract. Bartholin's duct cysts vaginal Mullerian cysts and sebaceous cysts of the vulva are successfully managed by similar techniques, as are condylomas and vulvar intrepithelial neoplasia.
