In my annual report for the fiscal year ending Jnne 30,1894, a full description is given of the railroad facilities at this post which have been acquired by purchase or construction, and by which connection can be made with the Central Kailroad of New Jersey and any other point to or from which shipment may be desired. This railroad has fulfilled all requirements and has proved a source of great convenience and economy, amply repaying all the expenses incurred by the Government in its purchase and construction. The movement of freight over this road began April 25,1894.
