Adjoining are three rooms, also intercommunicating, each having access to main corridor, and dimensions of 20 feet 3 inches by 23 feet 8 inches, 20 feet 3 inches by 10 feet, and 25 feet 9 inches by 18 feet 6 inches, respectively, and devoted in the order mentioned to the following purposes: Assaying room, balance room, and combustion room. At the rear of the building, and also in left corridor wing, are three independent rooms--a distilling room, 23 feet 9 inches by 32 feet 10 inches; drug workroom, 20 feet 3 inches by 20 feet 6 inches, and a chemical-storeroom, 20 feet 3 inches by 31 feet 8 inches--all opening into main corridor, and the latter having also entrances from the transverse corridor and from the porch way connecting main building with powerhouse extension. In the right wing at the rear of the building are four separate rooms, accessible from main corridor: An apparatus storeroom, of same dimensions and arrangement as the chemical storeroom in opposite wing; a culture-media room, 20 feet 3 inches by 20 feet 6 inches; a room devoted to the study of animal parasites, 25 feet 9 inches by 24 feet 4 inches, and an incubation and refrigerator room, 20 feet 3 inches by 8 feet 6 inches.
