AN ACT To appropriate the sum of twenty thousand pesos from insular funds for the purposes of act numbered nineteen hundred and seventy-five, entitled "An act to provide for the establishment of classes for the instruction and training of male and female nurses under the supervision of the director of health." By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that: Section 1. The sum of twenty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the insular treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purposes of Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and seventy-five of the Philippine Legislature. Sec. 2. The director of health may expend said sum for the maintenance of the classes authorized by said Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and seventy-five and for all other purposes related therewith as he shall deem necessary. Sec. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the same shall take effect on its passage, in accordance with section one of Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and forty-five of the Philippine Legislature. Enacted, January 31, 1911. G. B. No. 56. No. 2026. AN ACT To amend section thirty-eight of Act Numbered One hundred and eightythree, entitled "An act to incorporate the city of Manila," by providing that the city attorney and the prosecuting attorney for the city of Manila shall perform their duties under the general supervision of the attorney general. By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that: Section 1. Section thirty-eight of Act Numbered One hundred and eighty-three is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "sec. 38. Duties Of City Attorney; To Have One Assistant.--The law department shall consist of the offices o...
