Excellent Bird Book, the photographs are much better than illustrations. Would have liked that the sounds the birds made appeared in the book, example trrr, trrr, trrr. Not sure if the Birdscan App will work in area's where there are no signal, have not tested it yet.

It is a beautiful book and it arrived quickly and well packaged. Probably because I’m new to the bird watching game, this book is, for my purposes, not user friendly enough. It for example does not have the Janfrederik bird in the index. Maybe a good secondary resource. .

This is a brilliant book with excellent photo's from five bird book masters. The information is relevent and interresting, the illustrations are detailed and accuratel. This book speaks to all bird watchers and lovers and inspires to keep on looking out for different species. If you love photo illustrations and thorough information I highly recommend this book.
