Karl Victor Strahn graduated high school, his girlfriend dumped him, and he left home to serve his country in the military. With no family to hold, he joins an elite Task Force to try to help end the Vietnam war. Specially trained, they are assigned missions no one else will take, missions that are near suicidal. But then Victor discovers that the military has betrayed him. They are using the Task Force for their own purposes, and then intend to abandon them. No one in the Task Force can be allowed to live to return home and release the secret the military wants so desperately to hide.
