Papal Stain (Paperback)

This work is a fictional account of the author's conception of what might very well be the present and/or future fashion of rule and organization of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church. It is not intended to be an indictment of the Church for crimes against the world, but rather a caution flag being displayed in hopes that the Church and its leaders will realize the needs of its members and the world in general. The hopeful result would be that the Church will turn away from archaic practices and come to the realization that changes need to be made and that, also, the time and energy expended on intense political involvement in world affairs would be better spent caring for the unfortunate and needy. This is a story of two passionate Italian priests who are committed to bringing aid to the needy of the world by having the Catholic Church share its wealth with third-world countries. It also touches on other significant issues facing the Church. Pedophile priests, association with corrupt politicians, and involvement with tyrannical governments are some of the indictments of the hierarchy of the Church made by these men. The result is the calling of a twenty-first-century Ecumenical council.
