Connections: Interactive Sociology CD-Rom (CD-ROM, 3rd edition)

This is an interactive CD-ROM covering the major topics typically found in introductory sociology courses. It can be used both as a student tutorial and as a classroom presentation tool. The main menu is divided into two parts. One part provides a generic overview of terms, definitions and concepts common to all introductory courses; the other part can be made text-specific. Included on the CD-ROM are the Study Guides to accompany Kendall: Essentials, Ferrante 3E, Stark 7E, Stockard, and Brinkerhoff 4E et al. In addition, PowerPoint presentation files for selected texts are also included. Users with an Internet connection can access it directly from the CD-ROM.
