Hooray for Cats (Paperback)

Last year we published Alexandra Days captivating Hooray for Dogs. It was so warmly received that we decided it was only just that the cat lovers of the world have their say. Our most popular author, Welleran Poltarnees, volunteered for the job. He has shared his long adult life with a series of gray male cats, all named Charles. Hooray for Cats consists of many small sections, each dedicated to one of the many admirable feline traits, inlcuding playfulness, grace, secretiveness, sympathy, dignity, self-reliance and mischievousness. Poltarnees, our master of finding the right image for every thought, has reached in many directions for the illustrations, including childrens books, classic painting, and vintage calendars and advertisements.
