The lower three of these hoops are anchored against sneak thieves. The perforated corn cribs usually are round, because they are stronger in that shape and give corn capacity, according to the amount of metal. Roofs for meta' corn cribs usually are made of steel sections which taper from the eaves to a ventilating circle in the center. The taper of the sections is just right to give the roof sufficient pitch to carry off water. Small Convenient Farm Barn A combination barn, 36 by 46 feet, built on the lines shown in the perspective and floor plan herewith, is a very convenient barn for the smaller farms. Also as an auxiliary barn on a large farm it is proving very popular. ' The foundation is thoroughly well done of concrete by putting the foundation walls down below frost. The floor is of concrete, the full size of the barn, and is level and finished smooth with the exception of the cow stable part. The cow stable floor includes the manger and gutter, which are all built together of concrete in the best approved manner. The floor plan shows stabling for six cows in one corner of the barn. while the opposite side is given over to the horses.
