No objection shall be entertained on such review, which was not made before the taxing officer, unless the 3 court shall otherwise allow, in order to prevent great hardship or manifest injustice. EULE XXXIV. REPEAL OF FORMER RULES. 'All rules heretofore adopted for the circuit court and county courts having jurisdiction in civil actions, are hereby abrogated, and repealed. In cases where no provision is made by statute, or by these rules, the proceedings shall be according to the customary practice as it has heretofore existed in the circuit courts. EULE XXXV. WHEN RULES TO TAKE EFFECT. These rules shall be of uniform application and operation ia the circuit court in the several counties in this state and in the several county courts having jurisdiction in civil actions, and they shall take effect and be in force from and after the first day of January, A. D. 1880. ANNUITY TABLE. A Table corresponding with the Northampton tables referred to in these Rules, showing the value of an annuity of one dollar at six per cent, on a, single life, at any age from one year to ninety-four, inclusive: RULE FOR COMPUTING THE VALUE OF THE LIFE ESTATE OR ANNUITY AT SIX PER CENT. Calculate the interest at six per cent, for one year, upon the sum to the income of which the person is entitled.
