"Working Model" 3.0 - User Manual (Paperback)

"Working Model" 3.0 is a desk-top mechanical modelling system for creating and analyzing mechanical systems. It allows users to design and build models of physical systems, and to simulate and analyze their behaviour. It features fully parametric geometry for simple creation and editing of simulations, enabling students to modify and re-analyze complete models by simply changing a single parameter. An object oriented scripting language has been built in for more advanced work and there is also a facility for the import and export of data from CAD packages to provide motion simulation for diagrams. In addition, users can establish real-time links with such packages as MathsCAD and Excel for control experiments.;The software is fully networkable and runs on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. A demonstration version is available on CD-ROM or can be down-loaded from the Interactive Learning Europe Web site.;This is the user manual to accompany the software.
